He has also served as chairman of the board of Kronos Worldwide since 2014 and as its vice chairman of the board and chief executive officer since prior to 2010 to 2014 . He has served as NL chairman of the board since 2014, as its vice chairman of the board and chief executive officer from 2013 to 2014 and a director of NL since prior to 2010. Mr. Watson has served as CompX chairman of the board since 2013 and on its board of directors since prior to 2010. Mr. Watson was vice chairman of the board of Contran since 2013 and its president and a director of Contran from prior to 2010. He has served as an executive officer or director of various companies related to us and Contran since 1980. Mr. Watson has extensive experience with our business. He also has senior executive, operating, corporate governance, finance and financial accounting oversight experience from other publicly and privately held entities affiliated with us for which he currently serves or formerly served. since 2017.
