Dr. Bhatia is a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, or MIT, where she currently serves as the John J. and Dorothy Wilson Professor of Health Sciences TechnologyElectrical Engineering Computer Science. Prior to joining MIT in 2005, Dr. Bhatia was a professor of bioengineering and medicine at the University of California at San Diego from 1998 through 2005. Dr. Bhatia also is an investigator for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, a member of the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Womens Hospital, a member of the Broad Institute and a member of the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research since 2015.
