Mr. Robert George Elstone is no longer as NonExecutive Independent Director of Westpac Banking Corporationration effective 8 December 2017. He was Director since February 2012. Robert has over 30 years experience in senior management roles spanning investment banking, corporate finance, wholesale financial markets and risk management. From July 2006 to October 2011, Robert was Managing Director and CEO of ASX Limited. Previously, he was Managing Director and CEO of the Sydney Futures Exchange from May 2000 to July 2006, and from January 1995 to May 2000, he was Finance Director of Pioneer International. Robert was a Nonexecutive Director of the National Australia Bank from September 2004 to July 2006, an inaugural member of the Board of Guardians of the Future Fund, and former Chairman of the Financial Sector Advisory Council to the Federal Treasurer. Robert is an Adjunct Professor at the Business Schools of the Universities of Sydney and Western Australia. He is also a Board Member of the University of Western Australia Business School Board. since 2012.
