AURORA | In a last-ditch attempt to sway members of the Colorado Economic Development Commission to award tourism incentives to the Gaylord hotel project officials from Aurora and Gaylord Entertainment took questions at a meeting on May 3.
Gaylord Entertainment (NYSE: GET) shareholders voted Thursday to not renew a poison pill provision, Nashville Post reports. The provision deterred investors from acquiring more than 22 percent of the Nashville-based company.
Gaylord Entertainment's stockholders voted Thursday to make it more difficult, if not impossible, to extend beyond mid-August a poison pill that the hotel company has used up to now to ward off a hostile takeover.
