Mr. Veijo Merilainen has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Apetit Oyj since April 16, 2015. He no longer serves as Member of the Company Corporationrationrate Management, Director of the Food Business and Managing Director of Apetit Kala Oy at the Company, effective as of August 17, 2015. He has held this position since August 18, 2014. He has previously been Deputy Chairman of the Board since April 16, 2013. He was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company for a period from April 29, 2014 until March 16, 2015. He joined the Board as Member on April 13, 2012. Mr. Merilainen is President of Merive Oy. In addition, he chairs the Boards of Directors of HZPC Sadokas and Merive Oy and serves as Member on the Board of HZPC Kantaperuna Oy. Previously he worked for Valio Oy, where he held management positions in international operations, international sales and commercialization of innovations . He was Member of the Group Management Team of the company, and held management positions in production, product acquisition and cheese business as well as RD management roles since 2015.
