Mr. Nick Tintor was appointed as Independent Chairman of the Board of Aura Silver Resources Inc with effect from October 9, 2012. Mr. Tintor is currently Managing Director of RG Mining Investments Inc. and has more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry. He was involved in all aspects of junior mining company management, finance and project acquisition. Mr. Tintor is currently President and CEO of Caracara Silver Inc. and Ferrum Americas Mining Inc. He was President and Director of Southern Andes Energy Inc. from May 2010 until March 2012 and from January 2007 to March 2011, he was President and CEO of Homeland Uranium Inc. Also, from 2002 to January 2008 he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Anaconda Gold Corporationration Mr. Tintor is also a director of Caracara Silver Inc., Cerro Resources NL, DNI Metals Inc., Ferrum Americas Mining Inc. and Midlands Minerals Inc. since 2012.
