He holds a Bachelors degree in Information Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas. He also has academic certificates obtained in the Systems Research Institute of Geneva, Switzerland, as in Management and in Business Administration obtained in joint programs of the RBS with Universidad de Harvard. since 2008.

Bankinter Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Bankinter's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Bankinter inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Bankinter.
