She began her career with Gould Inc. as a human resources manager in 1979 and later worked in human resources with Emerson Electric Company from 1981 to 1988 and Taco Bell then a subsidiary of Pepsi from 1988 to 1991. Feldman holds a bachelors degree in political science and HR management from the University of Maryland in 1976 and a masters degree in public affairs and HR management from the University of Wisconsin in 1977. since 2014.
