Enterprise Products Management Efficiency

The company has Return on Asset of 0.0583 % which means that on every $100 spent on assets, it made $0.0583 of profit. This is way below average. In the same way, it shows a return on shareholders' equity (ROE) of 0.2 %, implying that it generated $0.2 on every 100 dollars invested. Enterprise Products' management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Enterprise Products manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. As of March 28, 2024, Return On Capital Employed is expected to decline to 0.1. In addition to that, Return On Assets is expected to decline to 0.04. At present, Enterprise Products' Total Current Assets are projected to increase significantly based on the last few years of reporting. The current year's Other Assets is expected to grow to about 43.3 B, whereas Non Current Assets Total are forecasted to decline to about 30.6 B.
The company has 29.07 B in debt with debt to equity (D/E) ratio of 1.08, which is OK given its current industry classification. Enterprise Products has a current ratio of 0.84, suggesting that it has not enough short term capital to pay financial commitments when the payables are due. Debt can assist Enterprise Products until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Enterprise Products' shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Enterprise Products sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Enterprise to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Enterprise Products' use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.

Enterprise Stock Performance Indicators

The ability to find closely correlated positions to Enterprise Products could be a great tool in your tax-loss harvesting strategies, allowing investors a quick way to find a similar-enough asset to replace Enterprise Products when you sell it. If you don't do this, your portfolio allocation will be skewed against your target asset allocation. So, investors can't just sell and buy back Enterprise Products - that would be a violation of the tax code under the "wash sale" rule, and this is why you need to find a similar enough asset and use the proceeds from selling Enterprise Products Partners to buy it.
The correlation of Enterprise Products is a statistical measure of how it moves in relation to other instruments. This measure is expressed in what is known as the correlation coefficient, which ranges between -1 and +1. A perfect positive correlation (i.e., a correlation coefficient of +1) implies that as Enterprise Products moves, either up or down, the other security will move in the same direction. Alternatively, perfect negative correlation means that if Enterprise Products moves in either direction, the perfectly negatively correlated security will move in the opposite direction. If the correlation is 0, the equities are not correlated; they are entirely random. A correlation greater than 0.8 is generally described as strong, whereas a correlation less than 0.5 is generally considered weak.
Correlation analysis and pair trading evaluation for Enterprise Products can also be used as hedging techniques within a particular sector or industry or even over random equities to generate a better risk-adjusted return on your portfolios.
