Mr. K.R. Murdoch is the father of Messrs. J.R. Murdoch and L.K. Murdoch. Mr. K.R. Murdoch was the driving force behind the evolution of the Company from the single, familyowned Australian newspaper he took over in 1953 to the global public media and entertainment company it is today.
