Mr. Charles Byron is Director of Galane Gold Ltd., since August 30, 2011. Mr. Byron is the Chief Geologist of the Corporationrationration. He was the founder, managing director and a consulting geologist of The Northern Lights Exploration Co. Ltd. and has over 30 years of geological experience, mainly in Archaean gold exploration and mining, and also in base metals. From 1995 to 2005, Mr. Byron was the Exploration Manager, General Manager and Resident Director of Gallery Gold Botswana Ltd. He has also previously held positions with Falconbridge Limited, Phelps Dodge Corporationrationration, Southern Sphere Mining and Development, and Eersteling Gold Mining Company Limited. Mr. Byron is the author or coauthor of several published scientific papers and extended abstracts, and his professional designations include an M. AusIMM from the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, an M. GSSA from the Geological Society of South Africa and a Pr.Sci.Nat. from the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professionals. Mr. Byron obtained his B.Sc. from the University of Natal. since 2011.
