Mr. Alfredo Casar Perez serves as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Director and Executive Vice President of Transport Division of Grupo Mexico, S.A.B. de C.V. since 2015. He was on the Company Board since 1997. He also has served as Executive President of Ferrosur SA de CV, Ferrocarril Mexicano SA de CV, GFM and ITM, subsidiaries of the Company, since March 5, 2008. Previously, since November 16, 1999, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ferrocarril Mexicano SA de CV and GFM. Before that he served as General Manager of Development of GMEXICO for two years, after having served as Chief Executive Officer of Compania Perforadora Mexico SA de CV and Corporationrationrate Director of Mexico Compania Constructora SA de CV for four years. In addition, he acts as Member of the Board of Directors of SCC and GFM. He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico, a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Anahuac. since 2015.

Elected by the shareholders, the Grupo Mxico's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Grupo Mxico inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Grupo. The board's role is to monitor Grupo Mxico's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. Grupo Mxico's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects.
