From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Berning worked as an independent consultant in the medical technology and electronics industries. From 2007 until 2012, Mr. Berning was the Chief Executive Officer of Hardcore Computer, Inc., a computer design and manufacturing company. Prior to joining Hardcore Computer in 2007, Mr. Berning served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pemstar, Inc., an engineering and medical device manufacturing company, since founding the company in 1994. Prior to 1994, he held various engineering and management positions throughout his 15 year career with IBM. Mr. Berning, who founded Pemstar and has served as the chief executive officer of companies for over two decades, brings extensive experience and perspective to our board, assisting it in assessing risk, evaluating opportunities and identifying resources essential to our success since 2011.
