Mr. Leif Inge Nordhammer was President and Chief Executive Officer of Salmar ASA since January 20 2014. Previously he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from October 1996 until June 6 2011. He has extensive experience from leadership positions in a variety of fish farming companies and has worked in the industry since 1985. Previous employers include Sparebank 1 MidtNorge and Froya Holding AS Hydro Seafood AS. He holds a Business degree from both Trondheim Business College and University of Trondheim . since 2014.

SALMAR Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the SALMAR's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: SALMAR inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of SALMAR. The board's role is to monitor SALMAR's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. SALMAR's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects. On the other hand, SALMAR's outside directors are responsible for providing unbiased perspectives on the board's policies.
