EXPERIENCE: Mr. Tisch has served as a member of Loews’s Office of the President since 1999 and, prior to that time, had served the company in a number of other executive positions, giving him extensive knowledge of Loews, its operations and the businesses in which it is engaged, and enabling him to be instrumental in providing our company with both strategic direction and daytoday operational oversight. Our Board and its Nominating and Governance Committee believe that his direct experience in managing Loews’s business, as well as his institutional knowledge, is of critical importance to our Board in fulfilling its responsibilities.
