MINDBODY Management Efficiency
The company has Return on Asset (ROA) of (0.0646) % which means that for every 100 dollars spent on asset, it generated a loss of $0.0646. This is way below average. Likewise, it shows a return on total equity (ROE) of (0.0812) %, which implies that it produced no returns to current stockholders. MINDBODY's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well MINDBODY manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. The company reports 249.42 M of total liabilities with total debt to equity ratio (D/E) of 88.8, which implies that the company may not be able to produce enough cash to satisfy its debt commitments. MINDBODY has a current ratio of 9.26, indicating that it is in good position to pay out its debt commitments in time. Debt can assist MINDBODY until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, MINDBODY's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like MINDBODY sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for MINDBODY to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about MINDBODY's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
