Alastair joined Marchtin Curries global emerging markets team in Octoberober 2010. He joined SWIP in 2000 and was the research manager on the globalemergingmarkets desk. As research manager at SWIP he prioritised and coordinated the teams stock research activities, a role he will now fulfil at Marchtin Currie. He was lead manager of the globalemergingmarkets smallercompanies mandates and specialist Central and Eastern European mandates, and had sectoranalyst responsibility for stocks across the consumer and healthcare sectors. Before joining SWIP, Alastair was an investment manager with Edinburgh Fund Managers. He began his career with Scottish Amicable Investment Management, where he spent seven years as an analyst and fund manager.
