Mr. Jay S. Mengle is Senior Vice President Engineering of Contango Oil Gas Company. Mr. Mengle had previously served as Senior Vice President Operations and Engineering of Crimson from April 2005 until May 2010 and Senior Vice President Engineering from May 2010 until the closing of the Merger. Mr. Mengle joined Crimson after serving as the Shelf Asset Manager Gulf of Mexico for KerrMcGee Corporation subsequent to its 2004 merger with Westport Resources Corporation . Mr. Mengle was with Westport Resources from 1998 to 2004, where he started Westports Gulf CoastGulf of Mexico drilling and production operations. Prior to joining Westport, Mr. Mengle also served in various drilling, production and marketing management capacities at Norcen Energy Resources, Kirby Exploration and Mobil Oil Corp since 2013.
