Mr. Dev C. Ittycheria is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company. Dev joined MongoDB with a unique mix of entrepreneurial, operational and investing experience. Before MongoDB, Dev was a Managing Director at OpenView Venture Partners, and before that he was an investing partner at Greylock Partners. Previously, Dev was the founderCEO of BladeLogic. He founded the company in 2001, took it public in 2007, and sold it to BMC Software in 2008 for approximately 900M. Dev then served as President of BMC Software, where he directly led a business with 1.4B in annual revenue and 4, 000 employees. Earlier in his career, Dev was founderCEO of Applica, one of the first venturebacked cloud companies. He merged the business with Breakaway Solutions, and the combined company went public in 1999. Dev began his professional career in the telecom sector developing new broadband businesses. Dev also serves as an advisor and board member to a number of nextgeneration software companies and private equity firms. Dev received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, and was recognized by the School of Engineering as its 2010 Alumnus of the Year.
