Studio City Management Efficiency

As of April 19, 2024, Return On Tangible Assets is expected to decline to -0.04. In addition to that, Return On Capital Employed is expected to decline to -0.0039. At present, Studio City's Non Currrent Assets Other are projected to increase significantly based on the last few years of reporting. The current year's Other Current Assets is expected to grow to about 50.3 M, whereas Net Tangible Assets are forecasted to decline to about 602.8 M. Studio City's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Studio City manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities.
The company has 2.35 B in debt with debt to equity (D/E) ratio of 2.34, meaning that the company heavily relies on borrowing funds for operations. Studio City International has a current ratio of 3.36, demonstrating that it is liquid and is capable to disburse its financial commitments when the payables are due. Debt can assist Studio City until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Studio City's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Studio City International sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Studio to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Studio City's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
