Mr. David T. Shapiro is an Executive Vice President, General Counsel of the Company., since July 2015. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Shapiro served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President for DaVita Kidney Care, a division of DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc., since 2013, overseeing all aspects of the division legal work. Mr. Shapiro joined DaVita Kidney Care in 2008, serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Special Counsel from 2012 to 2013 and as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer from 2008 to 2012. From 2003 to 2007, he served as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Frauds Section in Washington, D.C. and, prior to that, in private practice at law firms in Connecticut, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Mr. Shapiro currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Children Hospital of Colorado. since 2015.
