Mr. David L. Calhoun is NonExecutive Director of the company. Prior to joining Nielsen, he served as Vice Chairman of General Electric Company and President and CEO of GE Infrastructure. During his 26year tenure at GE, he ran multiple business units, including GE Transportation, GE Aircraft Engines, GE Employers Reinsurance Corporationrationration, GE Lighting and GE Transportation Systems

Calhoun is a member of the boards of directors of The Boeing Company and Caterpillar Inc. He was also appointed NonExecutive Chairman of privatelyowned Gates Global effective July 2014. He was a member of the board of directors of Medtronic Inc. from 2007 to 2012.
