Mr. Skip Magness is Vice President Operations Cyber Division of Northrop Grumman Corporationrationration. Most recently Magness was the director of network defense and intelligence operations for the cyber division where he was responsible for the delivery of missioncritical cyber solutions to customers in the federal government including the Department of Homeland Security as well as several customers in the intelligence community. Magness joined Northrop Grumman in 1990 and has extensive experience in program management strategic development and planning business development operations and systems engineering. Before making his transition to industry Magness career included several years in the research and engineering organization of the National Security Agency as a systems engineer developing various intelligence systems. He began his career in the NSA cooperative education program. He earned a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University and a master degree in business administration from the University of Maryland . He is also a senior fellow at the Center for Cyber and Homeland Security at the George Washington University. since 2015.
