Mr. Giulio Del Ninno serves as NonExecutive Independent Director of Prysmian S.p.A. He also serves as Chairman of the Remuneration and Nominating Committees of the Company. In 1973 he joined the Garzanti group as the Director of Production for Garzanti publishers a position he held until 1976 when he moved to the Montedison group where he performed various duties firstly as the Technical and Research Director for Montefibre Polyester Division then as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the affiliate Linoleum Due Palme and was later the Total Quality Manager at Montefibre. Between 1988 and 1996 he was Director of the Electrical Division at Edison and in 1996 he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Edison group a position he held until April 2005. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Edipower. He is Chairman of ICQ Holding SpA and Vice Chairman of Italgen SpA. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
