Mr. Lance E. Hockridge is the Chief Executive Officer of Aurizon Holdings Ltd. He joined QR Limited as Chief Executive Officer in 2007 with experience in the transportation and heavy industrial sectors in Australia and the United States. He is a Director of a number of Aurizon Holdings Limited whollyowned subsidiaries and Chairman of the Australasian Railway Association. During a 30year career with The Broken Hill Proprietary Company Limited and BlueScope Steel, Mr Hockridge was a member of the leadership team that led to BlueScope Steels demerger from BHP and the creation of a new publicly listed company. In 2005, Mr Hockridge was appointed President of BlueScope Steels North American operations where he led a turnaround in safety, production and financial performance. Other roles at BHP included human resources and industrial relations, General Manager of BHP Transport, Head of Long Products Business and President of Industrial Markets. He is Director of Aurizon Network Pty Ltd. Member of Safety, Health Environment Committee . He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Fellow of Australian Institute of Management and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors . since 2016.
