The company has Return on Asset of 0.0111 % which means that on every $100 spent on assets, it made $0.0111 of profit. This is way below average. In the same way, it shows a return on shareholders' equity (ROE) of 0.059 %, implying that it generated $0.059 on every 100 dollars invested. RPT Realty's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well RPT Realty manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. The company has 907.38 M in debt with debt to equity (D/E) ratio of 1.08, which is OK given its current industry classification. RPT Realty has a current ratio of 1.79, which is typical for the industry and considered as normal. Debt can assist RPT Realty until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, RPT Realty's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like RPT Realty sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for RPT to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about RPT Realty's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
