Mr. Christopher MacDonald Kirk was NonExecutive Director of SGS Ltd since March 13, 2015. Previously he served as Chief Executive Officer Executive Vice President Life Sciences of SGS SA since 2011 till March, 2015. He is also responsible for the Information Technology in the Company. Furthermore, he held ad interim position of Executive Vice President Industrial Services between 2009 and 2011. Prior to this position, he served as Chief Executive Officer from November 29, 2006. Previously, he served as Vice President for Minerals and Environmental Services, Environmental Services Oil, Gas Chemicals Services from 2003 till November 29, 2006. He was also Chief Operating Officer of the South East AsiaPacific region from 2002 till 2003. From 2000 till 2003, he served as Managing Director and Subregional Manager, Singapore. From 1998 till 1999, he served as Managing Director, Thailand. From 1987 till 1999, he held a number of senior positions in Thailand, Ghana, Singapore and Australia. From 1981 till 1987, he took on different roles in the Company, including Operations Manager, Business Development Manager and General Manager for SGS New Zealand. He joined the Company, in 1981, as Agri Inspector in New Zealand having worked as Life Insurance Representative for Canada Life from 1979 till 1980. He received a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and, in 1978 he was awarded a BS degree in Zoology. since 2015.
