In 1996, Ian joined Mitsubishi Electric as International Project Director. In 1999, he was appointed Consulting Director of Talgentra Ltd, where he developed a new consulting business which rapidly expanded overseas. In 2005, Ian became Managing Director of the multichannel retail division of Sanderson. Having made a major contribution to the Groups strategy and driven the development of the multichannel business, Ian was appointed Group Chief Executive in June 2015.
