He joined the Company in 1990, in Greenwich, Connecticut, working first as a shipbroker, and then as Round Voyage Manager. He served in the Company subsidiaries, as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Stolt Offshore S.A. from September 2002 until March 2003, and as President of Stolt Sea Farm from 1996 until 2000. In 1994, he opened and organized the Company representative office in Shanghai. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Avance Gas Holding Ltd and as Director of Golar LNG Ltd since 2003.
