Dr. Patrizio Vinciarelli, Ph.D., is an Independent Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Prior to founding the Corporationrationration, from 1977 until 1980, he was a Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study and an Instructor at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. From 1973 through 1976, he was a Fellow at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Vinciarelli received his doctorate in Physics from the University of Rome, Italy. Dr. Vinciarelli holds more than 150 patents for power conversion technology. Dr. Vinciarelli is qualified to serve on our Board given his role as the Corporationrationrations founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer, his role in the development of our patents and proprietary technologies and the design of our products, and his standing as the leading innovator in the power conversion industry. since 1981.
