Aqua Metals Management Efficiency

The company has return on total asset (ROA) of (0.3658) % which means that it has lost $0.3658 on every $100 spent on assets. This is way below average. Similarly, it shows a return on stockholder's equity (ROE) of (1.0191) %, meaning that it created substantial loss on money invested by shareholders. Aqua Metals' management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Aqua Metals manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. Return On Tangible Assets is likely to drop to -0.75 in 2024. Return On Capital Employed is likely to drop to -0.71 in 2024. At this time, Aqua Metals' Total Assets are comparatively stable compared to the past year. Net Tangible Assets is likely to gain to about 39 M in 2024, whereas Other Current Assets are likely to drop slightly above 171.9 K in 2024.
The company currently holds 3.23 M in liabilities with Debt to Equity (D/E) ratio of 0.03, which may suggest the company is not taking enough advantage from borrowing. Aqua Metals has a current ratio of 6.72, suggesting that it is liquid enough and is able to pay its financial obligations when due. Debt can assist Aqua Metals until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Aqua Metals' shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Aqua Metals sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Aqua to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Aqua Metals' use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.

Although profit is still the single most important financial element of any organization, multiple performance indicators can help investors identify the equity that they will appreciate over time.

Pair Trading with Aqua Metals

One of the main advantages of trading using pair correlations is that every trade hedges away some risk. The ability to find closely correlated positions to Aqua Metals could be a great tool in your tax-loss harvesting strategies, allowing investors a quick way to find a similar-enough asset to replace Aqua Metals when you sell it. If you don't do this, your portfolio allocation will be skewed against your target asset allocation. So, investors can't just sell and buy back Aqua Metals - that would be a violation of the tax code under the "wash sale" rule, and this is why you need to find a similar enough asset and use the proceeds from selling Aqua Metals to buy it.
The correlation of Aqua Metals is a statistical measure of how it moves in relation to other instruments. This measure is expressed in what is known as the correlation coefficient, which ranges between -1 and +1. A perfect positive correlation (i.e., a correlation coefficient of +1) implies that as Aqua Metals moves, either up or down, the other security will move in the same direction. Alternatively, perfect negative correlation means that if Aqua Metals moves in either direction, the perfectly negatively correlated security will move in the opposite direction. If the correlation is 0, the equities are not correlated; they are entirely random. A correlation greater than 0.8 is generally described as strong, whereas a correlation less than 0.5 is generally considered weak.
Correlation analysis and pair trading evaluation for Aqua Metals can also be used as hedging techniques within a particular sector or industry or even over random equities to generate a better risk-adjusted return on your portfolios.
