Mr. Mark Remon Sorour is NonExecutive Director of the Company. He joined the Naspers group in 1994, heading up business development and corporate finance globally. Following a tour of duty in Hong Kong and Amsterdam, he returned to Cape Town as group chief investment officer and had the responsibility for all global investment activities. On 31 March 2018 Mark retired after more than 20 years with the group. Mark remained on the board as a nonexecutive director. Mark is a qualified chartered accountant holding a BCom and DipAcc. since 2018.

Naspers Limited Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Naspers' board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Naspers inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Naspers. The board's role is to monitor Naspers' management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. Naspers' inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects.
