Torstein Sanness is a graduate of the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim where he obtained a MS in Engineering in geology, geophysics and mining engineering. From 20042015, he was the Managing Director of Lundin Norway AS. Mr. Sanness also served as Chairman of Lundin Norway AS from April 2015 to March 2017. From 20002004, he served as Managing Director of Det Norske Oljeselskap AS, and from 19722000, he served in various capacities for Saga Petroleum ASA. He is Board member of International Petroleum Corporationration, Panoro Energy ASA, and TGS Nopec ASA, as well as Chairman of the Board of Magnora ASA. since 2018.
