She previously served as director of Enterprise Operations and was responsible for the Customer Care Center, Deposit and Treasury Operations, Enterprise Loan Operations, and Consumer Lending and Card Operations departments. Prior to joining Zions Bancorporation, Smith held a variety of senior management roles in technology and operations risk management and internal audit at Wells Fargo. Smith holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from the University of Utah. She is member of the YWCA of Utahs Board of Directors, and formerly served on the United Ways Board of Directors. since 2015.

Zions Bancorporation Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Zions Bancorporation's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Zions Bancorporation inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Zions.
