Dr. Cheng has served as the chief operating officer of EHouse Holdings Limited, a real estate services company in China, since 2012 and previously served as its chief financial officer from 2006 to 2012. Dr. Cheng has also served as the acting chief financial officer of Leju Holdings Limited, since June 2017. Dr. Cheng has also been an executive director of EHouse Enterprise Holdings Limited, since March 2018. From 2005 to 2006, Dr. Cheng served as the chief financial officer of SouFun Holdings Limited, a leading real estate internet portal and a leading home furnishing website in China. From 2002 to 2004, he served as an executive director and the chief financial officer of SOHO China Limited, a real estate developer in China. Currently, Dr. Cheng also serves as an independent director of 51job, Inc. . Dr. Cheng received his bachelors degree in economics from Swarthmore College and his Ph.D. degree in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 2018.
