He was appointed Executive Vice President in 2004 and was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer in 2006. In April 2011, he became a Teekay director and assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Evensen also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and a director of Teekay GP L.L.C. and as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and a director of Teekay Offshore GP L.L.C. He served as a director of Teekay Tankers Ltd. from October 2007 until June 2013 and again from June 2015 to present since 2011.
