Mr. Petr Dvorak Ph.D. was appointed Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Komercni Banka a.s. since June 2, 2017. He is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, where he completed his PhD in 2003 and was named associate professor of finance in 2005. He was active at VE throughout his entire professional career, in 19841990 within the Finance and Credit Department, and from 1990 to the present within the Banking and Insurance Department, which he headed during 19941998. From 20062014, he was also Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, and, since 2014, he was ViceRector for Academic Affairs. He is a member of several scientific and editorial boards and an author of numerous publications. Since 2017, he was also chairman of the Audit Committee of Modr pyramida. since 2017.
