Prior to 1994, Mr. Zalm was head of the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis, held various positions at the Netherlands Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economic Affairs and was a professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Mr. Zalm has served as a director of Royal Dutch Shell since 2013. since 2018.
