He served as the Executive Chairman and as a director of Atacama Pacific Gold Corporation until the completion of the business combination with Rio2 in July 2018. Mr. Schneider is a Professional Geologist with more than 25 years of field management and project generation in South America. He is currently the President of SBX Consultores, a geological consulting firm in Santiago, Chile. Mr. Schneider has held senior management positions with several other public companies including TVX Gold and generated the Volcan gold discovery in Chile for Andina Minerals. He has also acted as a Chilean representative for TVX Normandy Americas, Newmont Mining, and Kinross Gold and has acted as an international consultant for Antofagasta and Gold Fields
